Typical Moulds and Moulding Parts
A Frequent Asked Question:
How to decide the type of mold for my project?
Answer: When you decide the type of mold for your new project you need to choose: should it be a prototype mould, low-volume mold, or fully automatic mold?
There are many factors to take into account:
● Budget -- How much you plan to invest on the tooling?
● Life of the mold -- How many shot you expect to have from this tool?
● The stage of the project -- is it at a prototyping stage, or commercial production stage?
● Part material -- Not all mold steel are suitable for all plastic materials.
● The quality of the parts -- Different mold steel generate different part quality.
● The lead time --- How quick you would like to have the T1 sample?
● The production volume of the mould -- What is the expectancy of the quantity the mold can turn out?
If you feel difficult to make a decision, you could tell us your requirement and we would give you our professional advice.
